This Privacy Policy describes how InfluVenture (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit our website, create an account, use buyer or creator tools, communicate on the platform, or contact support.
This policy applies alongside our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy. It is designed with Indian users in mind and reflects practices aligned with applicable data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) where it applies.

Depending on how you use InfluVenture, we may collect:
- Account data: name, email, phone, password hashes, role (brand/creator), profile photo, bio, and verification status.
- Business data: company name, billing details, tax identifiers where provided, campaign briefs, contracts, and purchase history.
- Creator data: portfolio links, social handles, audience metrics, KYC documents, InfluVenture Score inputs, and payout details.
- Content data: videos, images, messages, application notes, dispute evidence, and moderation records.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, cookies, log files, and usage analytics.
- Communications: support tickets, email notifications preferences, and in-app chat.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to:
- Provide and improve marketplace features (matching, contracts, escrow, messaging, publishing).
- Verify identity, prevent fraud, enforce policies, and resolve disputes.
- Process payments, payouts, subscriptions, and tax-related reporting where required.
- Send transactional messages (confirmations, approvals, security alerts) and, with consent where needed, marketing updates.
- Analyze aggregated usage to improve product performance and trust systems.
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights and safety.
5. Retention and security
We retain data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, dispute, and audit purposes. Content licensed to brands may remain accessible per contract terms even after account closure.
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls and encryption in transit where supported. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your choices and rights
You may update profile information in settings, manage notification preferences, and request account deletion subject to outstanding contracts or legal holds.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise these rights—we will respond within reasonable timelines.
7. Children and international users
InfluVenture is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
If you access the platform from outside India, you understand data may be processed in India or other locations where our providers operate, with safeguards as required.
