Escrow & Payments Policy
How brand funds are held, released, and settled on InfluVenture—including contracts, disputes, and platform fees.
Last updated: June 5, 2026 · InfluVenture
1. Overview
InfluVenture uses hold-and-release payment mechanics to protect both brands and creators. When a brand funds a task or contract, funds are typically placed in a held state until deliverables are approved and release conditions are satisfied.
This policy supplements the Terms of Service and describes operational rules visible in your dashboard (payments, contracts, disputes).
2. Funding contracts
Brands authorize charges through approved payment methods at contract activation or milestone funding, as shown in the product flow. Amounts may include creator compensation, platform fees, and applicable taxes.
Until release, held funds are not available for creator withdrawal. Failed or reversed payments may cancel or pause the contract.
3. Release conditions
Creator payouts generally require:
- Deliverables submitted and approved by the brand (or auto-approved per contract rules after the review window).
- No open dispute blocking release.
- Creator account in good standing (verification, strikes, and payout eligibility).
- Compliance with Content Guidelines and authenticity requirements for published testimonials.
4. Platform fees and subscriptions
Platform commission or subscription fees are disclosed before checkout or in creator plan settings. Fees are deducted at release or billing as described in-product.
Creator subscription plans may gate marketplace access or features; cancellation follows plan terms shown at purchase.
5. Disputes and holds
If a party opens a dispute, release may pause while evidence is reviewed (messages, files, shipment tracking, revision history). Admins may order full release, partial release, refund to brand, or other remedies consistent with contract terms and the Refund Policy.
6. Payouts to creators
Released funds move to creator balances and then to connected payout methods subject to verification and payment partner rules. Processing times vary by method and bank holidays.
We may withhold payouts when fraud, chargeback, or policy violations are suspected.
